A correlation of thoughts.

All my life, I always thought that when I look at the stars, I am pretending to see the past; akin to looking back in time. As the stars just generate and shine their lights to every part of the universe, until they turn to dust and never to be seen again. As the stars were probably dead by the time their lights reached the Earth, and into the eyes of laymen. The thought has always made me feel uneasy to think that the lights went down from billions of light years away to nothing, because nobody even knew the lights had existed. And the least I could do for them is that I would return the favour as much as possible, by appreciating the beauty of the thousands of shimmering stars scattered in the night sky.

All your life, you always thought about how you may take a look at something in its very nature that is so beautiful, which is beyond anything you’ve ever seen in your life. For that something to exist in this place and it was always like this, and it is always meant to be, just because. For it plays an important part in its own universe, and no more. And then you came up with this thing that, it is beautiful in its own way, and it is a part of something greater and trivial for its own survival, yet again, it may not meant for you to see it in the first place, but you are just that lucky, because the underlying beauty of it is an appreciation to you.

And the most wonderful thing is, you took account on both our thoughts and turn it into something meaningful, which is the light of the stars may not turn into waste, as it has always been part of something great, that even after it dies, it died becoming a significant part of the universe.

And as we both stargaze our way up to the sky, we’re just happen to be two lucky bastards appreciating the beauty of the dead stars at night!
